MAX moving heads lit ‘Forest of Life’ by Sou Fujimoto.

The ‘Fuorisalone’ – which takes place annually in Milan in conjunction with the ‘Salone del Mobile’, during the so-called Design Week – consists of a set of events that take place in various locations around the city.

Fuorisalone’ promotes the design in an alternative way, offering a brand communication in the form of special events, performances and installations.
One of the highlights of the ‘Fuorisalone’ 2016 was the installation commissioned by fashion brand COS to the famous Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto, who set it up in the former cinema / theater ‘Arti’.
Sou Fujimoto presented ‘Forest of Life’, a project that is inspired by the city of Tokyo, seen as an architectural forest, and blends it with the multi-sensory experience of a forest at dusk.
The use of MAX moving heads allowed the Japanese Architect to realize true architectures of light in constant mutation, thanks to a careful and minimal programming of scenes and subtle variations in the brightness of the beams, synchronized with the sounds of the natural environment.

‘Forest of Life’ created for the visitors the unusual sensation of an immersion in a forest at the same time natural and technological.
