240 SCENA LED 80 CT and PROFILO 80 CT installed at ESC

The Amsterdam-based ACS Audiovisual Solutions is one of the largest players in the AV market for large-scale conferences and events.
After an intensive “shootout test” with a massive number of theatre luminaires available on the market, ACS chose to buy a large number of DTS SCENA LED 80 CT and DTS PROFILO LED 80 CT. 240 fixtures in total have been purchased at Full AVL Distribution.

The SCENA LED 80 CT and PROFILO 80 CT were used for the first time at the ESC (European Society of Cardiology) conference held at the end of August in Barcelona. With around 33,000 participants, this is the largest medical conference in Europe. For the ESC congress, 22 conference rooms – especially set up by ACS – were all provided with LED lighting.

“This was the time to make the investment. Not only we are the first player in the market that offers this, but we also show that we think in the best interests of our clients” said Annemiek van Lersel, Manager International Projects of ACS. In fact utilizing LED lighting, 80-90% savings on energy can be achieved compared to conventional lights.
With its projectors, DTS let ACS set new trend with innovative congress lighting.
