Founded in 1980, DTS are industry leaders in professional lighting design. Driven by our passion and extensive experience, we create and manufacture unique projectors for both the entertainment and architectural markets.

Started as a family business, DTS own 3 production plants (totaling 12,000 square meters) and sell worldwide to more than 70 countries.
Our history speaks for itself. Step by step, we evolve to always anticipate the needs of the market and our clients. To us, the future always looks bright!

DESIGN AND PRODUCTION

In the last few years, DTS’ core business evolved focusing more on a range of solutions for dynamic lighting.

We are constantly working to improve the quality of projector light and colors, and to offer unique solutions for broadcast, theatre and touring.

MADE IN ITALY

All production phases are completely based in Italy, from concept to assembly, and all the company’s suppliers operate in the same region supporting and strengthening the local economy.

The result is a wide range of innovative products with unparalleled quality, sealed by the ISO 9001:2015 certification and recognized by a growing number of architects, designers, distributors and system integrators.

40 YEARS OF EVOLUTION, ALWAYS THINKING FORWARD

1980

THE ADVENTURE BEGINS

DTS start as a family business manufacturing lamps for commercial and domestic use.

1987

 

 

In a few years, DTS’ quality standards grow remarkably. We acquire a vast know-how in the construction of optical units making the company ready to operate in the professional lighting industry.

1990

 

 

In order to reach full production autonomy, DTS invest in new, innovative machinery and start a department completely devoted to research and development.

1996

With numerical-control machines and robots operated by skilled workers, DTS further refined and improved its production processes, creating fully automated workstations capable of high production volumes and a great operational flexibility.

1999

THE FIRST DTS MOVING HEAD

DTS creates its first moving head projector featuring a 575W discharge lamp, called Movie Light.

2005

 

The DELTA R is born, the first IP65-rated LED moving head in the industry. The DELTA R proves to be ideal for illuminating buildings and objects placed at heights, thus providing DTS an entry ticket into the market of architectural lighting.
Will come after three year the launch of the XR line with high power lamps ideal for tours and shows.

2011

 

 

The company grows significantly, with facilities consisting of three plants totaling 12,000 square meters. Communication and direct contact between departments are key to the success of our products.

2013

The Research & Development department works incessantly and, after the launch of the first real hybrid moving head in 2012, comes to market the most powerful beam projector for lighting tracers visibles from wide distances: RAPTOR is born.

2018

 

We continue to improve our product range. The proof is our SYNERGY 5 PROFILE, a unique LED moving head with internal framing system and the revolutionary Dynamove FX Engine that offers the brightest light, the widest zoom and a series of stunning 3D-like dynamic animation effects.

2019

 

 

ALCHEMY 5 - the latest product range in the DTS family - reaches unparalleled levels of lighting quality. Mixing Fresnel lenses and LED technology, it assures perfect whites and a unique set of warm color nuances.
