DTS scores a goal at Azteca Stadium
The most iconic football stadium in the world – and the largest in Mexico – the Estadio Azteca, hosted last 7th November the celebrations for the 25th anniversary of Telehit, a Mexican TV network specializing in music and music videos, covering various countries in Latin America and United States.
The mammoth show – joined by some of the major Mexican and international music artists, such as Café Tacuba, Jessy y Joy, Fey, and Super Juniors – was broadcasted live.
DTS projectors played an important part in the success of the show.
“The audience was able to enjoy a magnificient lighting and video production, that highlighted the performance of our DTS projectors.” declared Integraled company, partaker in the event.
No less than 82 DTS projectors were installed at the Azteca stadium: 35 KATANA LED bars, arranged in 9 parallel rows above the stage, added liveliness to the show with their exclusive ‘blade of light’ and fast tilt movements. 24 RAPTOR moving heads, hanging from the roof trusses, were used with their 8-facet prism on, to break up their extra-luminous beams, resulting in a very ‘scenic’ effect.
23 NICK NRG 1401 units, fixed to the upper side of two large semicircular trusses set in background, lighted the stage with a variety of multi-color projections.
