Lyon E-sport 2018

Last February, the 11th edition of ‘Lyon e-Sport’ – the largest gaming event in France – took place in the futuristic Salle 3000 in Lyon. DTS moving head fixtures, NICK NRG 1401, RAPTOR and WONDER.D, provided a perfect lighting for the event.

“We are very satisfied with the DTS products” said the technical organizers of Lyon e-Sport; “although some structures were placed at 10 m high we did not have any problems; the power of the RAPTOR has no equal.
The dynamic colors of the NRG 1401 and the double zoom of the WONDER.D offered us a great deal of possibilities.
With these products we easily overcame the constraints we had, such as the high brightness of the video screens in background, or the need to create lighting that was suitable for both the vast audience and the shootings intended for television broadcasts and the Internet”.

THE EVENT

‘Lyon e-Sport’ periodically brings together the best E-sports teams competing live to win the rich final prize.
16,000 enthusiasts crowded the Salle 3000; another 100,000 followed the event on the Internet, making it an unprecedented success for the event.
