Sanremo Music Festival 2021

The 71st edition of Sanremo Festival is now taking place at the Ariston theatre in Sanremo, Italy. For the first time ever in its history, the event is occurring with no audience because of the pandemic which still is halting the entertainment industry. Although, thanks to Amadeus, Fiorello, and seven co-hostesses, the Italian Music Festival remains the greatest musical event in the country, attracting millions of viewers every evening.

It is a great honor to find on this very special stage the Fresnel moving heads bearing the DTS logo: Alchemy 5.
These new generation wash lights, provided by Service Calvini, found their way on a privileged place in the setup in order to ensure the best light diffusion, especially when it comes to the pastel tones requested by the lighting project.
The luminaires have been installed laterally on the first and second arch of the stage, and as a counter-light on the stalls, delivering so the wash diffusion over the whole stage area.

Throughout all the duration of the festival Alchemy will accompany artists and guests during their performance, offering the optimal white-light and pastel colors which would otherwise be difficult to achieve.
Following the big debut of Alchemy in the entertainment and theatre world that already happened internationally, its presence at Sanremo Festival confirms the great innovation brought by this moving head which will lighten up the path that will bring back alive the entertainment industry.
