Following the communication of Prolight + Sound Frankfurt we faced a difficult choice.
The entertainment industry counts a large number of companies that cancelled their participation to the show, moreover there is an unbelievable uncertainty about the development of the Coronavirus. The worldwide spread is increasing day by day and we believe it is not possible to forecast the situation in less than 2 months from now.
DTS opened an internal consultation with their people, customers and partners who, given the unclear situation, are intending to give up visiting the show in favor of alternative events to support the normal development of the activities.
We all hope that the worldwide health situation will fix as quickly as possible, however, this lack of worldwide planning security represents an unjustifiable risk for us, our people, our partners, our friends.
For these reasons we will not participate in Prolight + Sound Frankfurt 2020.
To give continuity to the news announcements planned for Prolight + Sound, DTS will take personal contact with their customers to plan a new professional event. Stay tuned!
