DTS welcome 2020 with a new style and a full agenda of activities to celebrate the company’s 40th anniversary.
DTS started 2020 by introducing a new logo: a celebration of our tradition and expertise in the lighting industry and a sign that we never stop evolving to meet our customers’ needs.
While updating our logo, the design team focused on a more modern and contemporary version reflecting the fast-changing demands of both the entertainment and architectural segments. The new logo design, a modern 3D shape, pays tribute to the old logo and to the company’s origins while also conveying the dynamic drive behind our industry-leading brand.
We have also updated our company color: a vibrant orange that captures the perfect balance in all our products between light and warmth, and also a color that is not easy to create with LED technology.
2020 is a big milestone in our history as this year we celebrate our 40th anniversary. Founded in 1980, DTS have evolved from a small family company into an industry leader, with three production plants and customers in more than 80 different countries.
Our evolution continues with a series of new commercial strategies and some changes in our management, with CEO Dante Latteo upholding the legacy of President Silvano Latteo. We have seen a very positive response to these developments from our customers and staff.
These changes represent an ongoing evolution where our values remain the same as ever: we take pride in our Italian origin and the commitment towards our territory; we give our appreciation to our highly-skilled people and honor our tradition of being a family; and we inspire each other with our continual efforts to enhance and improve our processes and products.
The first tangible result of our creative evolution will be the launch of the recessed version of ALCHEMY 3 and EUPHONY 3, two products that offer all the benefits of an LED lighting moving head for any commercial or public space, and also the first products of our architainment catalogue revolution.
DTS will launch ALCHEMY 3 ceiling and EUPHONY 3 ceiling at ISE 2020, the best-attended professional AV and systems integration trade show in the world.

DTS is glad to announce to have appointed Raffaella Scaccia as Sales Director.
Starting June the 3rd Raffaella, following a 15-month commitment as Area Sales Manager during which she has shown to be a great coordinator and always on the cutting edge, the Company will promote her.
In order to give her the maximum support, Carmen Savarese will be the coordinator of the foreign sales network, in the role of International Sales Manager. Carmen has gained a complete sales experience working for many years in the entertainment industry and she is well respected by all industry professionals for her integrity and reliability.
DTS will reorganize its sales structure in Germany and Austria.
From 1st July FOCON Showtechnic will take over the distribution of DTS in Germany while Austrian market will be supported directly by DTS.
Lightpower stays the exclusive distributor in Germany and Austria till the 30th June 2019 and will provide DTS customers till this date with the full service and support for these products.

Starting May the 1st the new partnership between DTS and Vari International, the Mexican company specialized in audiovisual and lighting equipment, is official
Vari Internacional was founded in 1985 focusing on trading electrical and electronic machinery and equipment high quality video and audio equipment, as well as providing installation services, consulting and technical support.
Already well-known in the Mexico’s lighting market, VARI defines itself as a service company that starts from before the sale, to after it. The main task is always looking for the maximum customer satisfaction in the long run.
In order to offer a more complete portfolio, Vari has officially become distributor of the DTS products:

DTS established a new agreement for the Hungarian market: Beklaar, the 25 years-old’ company, will distribute DTS lighting products.
“Beklaar was founded in 2003 and in few years became leader in power generator and trusses’ rental market. To obtain same results in lighting we have chosen DTS as lighting supplier because we can count on high standard quality and wide range of lighting fixtures.” Beklaar founder Laszló Willburg.
The two companies’ managements met last week in the DTS headquarters to define the terms of the agreement and Raffaella Scaccia, Area Sales Manager for DTS declared,
“In the past years Beklaar has shown to be able to manage a complex market like that of the entertainment is, and we believe that it represents the ideal partner to reinforce our brand in Hungary. DTS will support them for becoming a market leader in lighting with a complete portfolio of products to fulfil the most demanding specifiers requirements.”
DTS, the Italian lighting manufacturer, becomes partner to ALD – The Association of Lighting Designers in UK – to support its important role in the entertainment market: promoting culture and information about all the involved technical fields.
The Association of Lighting Designers is the professional body representing all those who work or are interested in the creation of lighting, video & projection design for live performance and events.
DTS recently joined the ALD as a Corporate Member to support the important work of stakeholders’ knowledge of that sector to implement the correct distribution of the lighting culture.
In fact, DTS considers the involvement of all professionals extremely important in order to create a shared culture able to improve and broaden the horizons of the technical entertainment field.
Already active in Italy – in cooperation with the Italian association AILD – DTS aims to be promoter of lighting know-how thanks its historical experience. For over 30 years, this 100% Italian company has been developing its own brand of professional lighting projectors ensuring a high standard of precision thanks to an optimized vertical integration, that centralizes the whole productive process in three plants, all located within a single area of 12.000 sq. meters.
