DTS welcome 2020 with a new style and a full agenda of activities to celebrate the company’s 40th anniversary.
DTS started 2020 by introducing a new logo: a celebration of our tradition and expertise in the lighting industry and a sign that we never stop evolving to meet our customers’ needs.
While updating our logo, the design team focused on a more modern and contemporary version reflecting the fast-changing demands of both the entertainment and architectural segments. The new logo design, a modern 3D shape, pays tribute to the old logo and to the company’s origins while also conveying the dynamic drive behind our industry-leading brand.
We have also updated our company color: a vibrant orange that captures the perfect balance in all our products between light and warmth, and also a color that is not easy to create with LED technology.
2020 is a big milestone in our history as this year we celebrate our 40th anniversary. Founded in 1980, DTS have evolved from a small family company into an industry leader, with three production plants and customers in more than 80 different countries.
Our evolution continues with a series of new commercial strategies and some changes in our management, with CEO Dante Latteo upholding the legacy of President Silvano Latteo. We have seen a very positive response to these developments from our customers and staff.
These changes represent an ongoing evolution where our values remain the same as ever: we take pride in our Italian origin and the commitment towards our territory; we give our appreciation to our highly-skilled people and honor our tradition of being a family; and we inspire each other with our continual efforts to enhance and improve our processes and products.
The first tangible result of our creative evolution will be the launch of the recessed version of ALCHEMY 3 and EUPHONY 3, two products that offer all the benefits of an LED lighting moving head for any commercial or public space, and also the first products of our architainment catalogue revolution.
DTS will launch ALCHEMY 3 ceiling and EUPHONY 3 ceiling at ISE 2020, the best-attended professional AV and systems integration trade show in the world.

AMG International, one of the most known Italian companies of Full Service for television and entertainment markets, has chosen to invest on 100 ALCHEMY 5. The Fresnel LED mobile head, successfully presented at the latest Prolight & Sound, has win the great interest over of the market thanks to its ability to generate high quality whites and a palette of colors more extensive with a range of pastel-like nuances.

Las Vegas: SYNERGY 5 PROFILE wins the ‘Golden Star award’
This morning in Las Vegas, during a ceremony held at the Timeless Communications Group’s stand at LDI 2018, DTS has been awarded the ‘Golden Star award’ for its SYNERGY 5 PROFILE.
The SYNERGY 5 PROFILE has been chosen by a panel of judges as ‘Best New LED Sourced Profile of the Year‘.
Antonio Parise (Area Sales Manager) and Davide Tonini (Product Manager) collected the award.

We are pleased to announce that SFM has been appointed as the exclusive Canadian distributor for DTS, the Italian company that designs, engineers, manufactures and distributes lighting products and lighting effects for the entertainment and architectural industries in more than 70 countries all over the world since 1980. SFM will be the exclusive distributor in Canada for their innovative architectural lighting solutions. DTS uses the most advanced design tools and automation systems available, both for the design and the production, operated by an extremely skilled and continuously trained staff. SFM provides customized go-to-market solutions to global brands within the audiovisual, live entertainment, and media production industries. DTS established a new agreement for the Hungarian market: Beklaar, the 25 years-old’ company, will distribute DTS lighting products.
“Beklaar was founded in 2003 and in few years became leader in power generator and trusses’ rental market. To obtain same results in lighting we have chosen DTS as lighting supplier because we can count on high standard quality and wide range of lighting fixtures.” Beklaar founder Laszló Willburg.
The two companies’ managements met last week in the DTS headquarters to define the terms of the agreement and Raffaella Scaccia, Area Sales Manager for DTS declared,
“In the past years Beklaar has shown to be able to manage a complex market like that of the entertainment is, and we believe that it represents the ideal partner to reinforce our brand in Hungary. DTS will support them for becoming a market leader in lighting with a complete portfolio of products to fulfil the most demanding specifiers requirements.”
‘Luci in Riviera’ – whose theme for this year is ‘A world of light’ – is an urban lighting project divided into a series of installations created at various sites in the town of Dolo.
The lighting installations are conceived during a workshop attended by young professionals and students from all over the world. Luci in Riviera, a unique artistic event in Italy, highlights – through the infinite suggestions of light – the architectures and spaces of Dolo, the historical / artistic jewel of the Riviera del Brenta.
Besides being a sponsor of the event, DTS will be present in the lighting installations with its high-power compact LED projectors, with integrated power supply and LED driver, IP65-rated thus ideal for temporary or fixed outdoor installations.

ARTEMIO is an ultra-compact white LED projector ideal for retail applications, museums and exhibitions, and wherever a lighting body with top luminous performance, yet elegant and discreet, is required.
ARTEMIO has been designed to perform a range of tasks in the exhibition space: the projector is available in Fresnel version with a 14° to 42° zoom, and in Profile version with internal shaper and user-interchangeable optics. Its light source consists of the latest generation full color LEDs, which provide high quality light with accurately modulated brightness, and can generate an infinite range of colors, from the most saturated to the pastel shades.
Thanks to the adjustable color temperature, it is possible to enhance any product category with the most suitable light shade, improving the perception of its natural colors.
LEDs are ‘cold’ light sources, unlike halogen or incandescent lamps, so NICKs can be easily installed in confined or recessed spaces. The long-range zoom can highlight individual objects with a very narrow light beam or evenly illuminate large areas with a diffuse projection. The projector can be rotated 360° to precisely light any point of the retail space. NICK are the ideal projectors for permanent installations.
