PAR CANs, the most widespread projectors in the world, were the evolution core of live show, theatre and TV performances in the last decades, in spite of their simplicity.
DTS owes to these projectors a lot of his success: in 30 years of activity – the first PAR was made in 1982 – in his own plants, were produced over than 8 million of pieces and, during this long period, DTS’s PARs became a market standards for their resilience and quality. As well as for their price, outcome of high production automation level and fully robotized workstations.
Just in these days DTS will finish the shipment of the last PAR pieces and will proudly greet the forefather of a long list of projectors that have grown and improve an Italian company that, still today, designs and manufactures all its products in Misano Adriatico – Italy.
Now that the PAR production line is closed leaving room to new cutting edge technologies, we are proud to verify that DTS works with the same passion that follows through an extraordinary evolution:
CREATE HIGH INNOVATION LEVEL PRODUCTS WITH THEIR OWN PERSONALITY, THAT DIVERSIFY THEM FROM COMPETITORS.
An interesting interview with Silvano Latteo – DTS President – describes the Italian company success that, in 36 years of business, has been able to renew itself listening customers needs and adapting to a changing market.
Silvano said that “DTS products quality is the result of collective participation to their realization”.
That is why all products are made entirely in one unique district in Italy: “to search for product quality is essential to manage the entire production process under one roof.”
A warm ‘thank you’ from the DTS staff to all the people who visited the DTS booth at LDI 2016; they made it one of the most rewarding exhibitions ever for our company.
Every day was a busy day at DTS booth: in fact, a large number of lighting professionals dropped in to see first-hand the new hi-tech projectors on display.
CORE: the true ‘hybrid’ moving head created for the rental companies: an extra-bright Beam and a versatile Spot all in one.
KATANA: the motorized LED bar that is revolutionizing the Show lighting, thanks to its new ‘Blade’ projection: a super-concentrated blade of light that creates amazing dynamic multicolor effects.
NICK NRG 1401: extreme brightness, single pixel control, and 4° – 52° zoom range make it perfect as a Beam light with multi-color rays, or as a Wash light with a very wide projection.
“We are extremely satisfied of the outcome.” – said Paolo Albani (DTS Sales and Marketing Director) – “Over the last months, we made a strategic choice, focusing on high-quality products for entertainment and architectural applications. The market appears to have already understood this evolution; in fact, the new generation of hi-tech projectors that we demonstrated at LDI won the interest of a number of lighting professionals.”
“This was also a bright beginning of the new partnership with Group One, that is now handling all US sales and support activities for DTS; I want to thank Group One staff for their invaluable support throughout the exhibition.
I am convinced that Group One is the best partner to bring our products to the American market.”

DTS and CLN teamed up to organize an exclusive showcase that will be held next 6th September from 1pm to 7pm at Bigbox, Megabox Level 3, Singapore.
The showcase – that will be joined by DTS commercial and technical staff – is aimed at introducing the latest DTS hi-tech projectors to the Singapore market, including KATANA – the real light blade, CORE – the true hybrid moving head (spot and beam all in one), and NRG 1401 – the creative LED wash light with single pixel control.
This event will highlight the start of the distribution agreement just signed between DTS, the Italian leading producer of hi-tech lighting products and CLN, the new lighting division of Consolidated Audio Networks, the renowned company based in Singapore.
Both companies agree that the timing was perfect to start this important collaboration, as CLN had formed a specialized team for the new lighting business venture, and DTS was looking for the strongest-possible distribution for its latest generation of advanced projectors in Singapore.
